Cambodian is a legendary strain of psilocybin mushroom. Unlike many strains, we know the history of Cambodian mushrooms. That’s because this incredible strain was discovered and cultured by John Allen. John Allen is also known lovingly as Mushroom John. That’s because John Allen has dedicated his life to discovering and documenting mushrooms of the world. Throughout his travels, John found and cultured many renowned strains of Psilocybe cubensis. Most of those that we know and love today come from South East Asia. Cambodian is no different, and unsurprisingly, they were discovered in Cambodia. The story goes that Allen was filming mushrooms near the famous Angkor Wat temple in Siem Reap, Cambodia. During the filming, he came across some beautiful mushrooms, which he took and cultured. From then on, Cambodian mushrooms started making their way to growers around the world.

Remember that this list is just a reference, and you’ll need to experiment to find the right dose for you. With Cambodian mushrooms, you’ll want to start low and go slow. That means you should take less than what you think you need. We recommend beginners try 0.5 to 1 gram for the first time. For experienced users we think that around 2 grams should be a good start.
